The HMD Barbie™ Phone, a collaboration between Human Mobile Devices (HMD) and Mattel, was released in August 2024. This retro-style flip phone is designed to encourage users to disconnect from constant digital engagement
As the Design Director on the HMD Barbie™ Phone project, I played a key role in bringing the concept to life, collaborating closely with the Creative Director and 3D Designer. From the initial concept stage and photoshoot to the large-scale campaign - including giant banners in Westfield shopping centre - I was involved in every step of the process. I also had the opportunity to design the packaging for the collaboration with Impala skates. I developed the toolkit for all assets, ensuring consistency and adaptability across global markets.
